It is a story about love and lust in our lives, about what their absence leads to and what forms they can take. In this game, you'll be playing as a 29-year-old guy who gets involved in unexpected mystical events. His life gets turned on its head and he has to survive in the new world he's found himself in. But it's not as grim as it seems at first glance. As you play, you'll meet girls who need you just like you need them. Will you make them yours, seduce them, or cherish and love them? It's up to you. Each of them has their own background, character, and hidden fetishes...

If you're an ANDROID user, READ down below:
- If it's your FIRST time playing, just install the 0.7 version, nothing else is needed
- If you've PLAYED 0.6.1, then install the 0.7 version on top of it, your saves from 0.6.1 should be there
- If you HAVE NOT played 0.6.1 and DON'T NEED your saves, then DELETE previous version and install 0.7
- If you HAVE NOT played 0.6.1 and WANT TO KEEP your saves from 0.6, READ FURTHER
Because the android version now has new save placement, to keep your saves you need to follow these steps or watch a video guide:
1) Copy or Move your old saves from there they are located to any other folder
- Android 10 or older - "Android\data\RenPy\MurMur-#Numbers"
- Android 11 or higher - "Android\data\com.dd.murmur\files\saves"
!!! NOT FOLDER "files\saves" BUT WHAT'S INSIDE OF IT !!!
You will need a file manager to have access to these folders, for example this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.explorer
2) Delete the game - this should delete saves from old folders stated above
3) Install the new update, launch it once and allow asked permission - this is necessary in order for the game to create a new save folder
4) Copy or Move your save files to the new folder that was created by the app after the launch, paste overwriting everything
- New save folder location - "Documents\RenPy_Saves\com.dd.murmur"
5) Launch the game and if you have your save files, you did everything correct, if not, recheck every step you did and folders where you've pasted files
6) Play and enjoy

You should be able to upgrade, but if you delete the old version, your saves will stay
this game is great, i only have a concern that the android version is a serious battery drainer, i dont know if there's anything to be done behind the scenes but i thought id bring up this topic

i can never be too sure but for me, it heats up the phone like crazy and whenever I do anything else like watch youtube and other high performing apps, the battery life isn't impacted greatly as when i noticed with the murmur game.

Actually, you are the second person to report this issue. I was reminded of it, but the first person also uses a Samsung phone, so I do not know if that has some connection. Do other games have similar problems?

First of all, I have to say that I think the game is very well done. The story is well crafted and I really like the characters. But of course, not everything that shines is gold. In a few places, such as the date with Yui, I find it too long-winded. Yes, I know it's important for her character, but still, I sometimes wondered if it was going to go on forever. In other places, I was really swept away, such as during the drinking game. Time flew by and it was really fun. I really like the system with love and lewdness.
In other words, I think it's a really good game and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Cosy Cafe, Stormside, and Once in a lifetime didn't trigger Windows defender. The last VN I downloaded without the publisher got my PC hacked pretty badly, so I'm just being extra cautious of Unknown Publisher games.
Well, of course you should click the "anyway" button only if you're sure about the game and developer. I recommend downloading games only from the official source of the developers, where you can read comments about the game being okay or not.
For example, I publish my game either here on itch.io or on my Patreon. Double check the author's name and what game they produce; Google if needed. Read comments, and if you see none or comments about viruses, then obviously don't download it. But foremost, just don't use shady sites that can inject malicious code into any game of any developer. One good sign that the game is okay is if the developer chats with the people and people reply. ^^

Many itch.io games seem to trigger a false report of 'win32highscore' in one of my anti-virus programs, but a scan with 3 other programs never finds it, so yeah, usually a false reading for that also.
I verify that this version is safe and secure and you should tell Microsoft to suck it.

So after hours of playing Murmur and researching online for information, despite how bloody vague all sources I chanced upon were, on how to unlock the full gallery I have come to the conclusion that there are 2 paths to this game.
Pure Love or Corruption.
Corruption is most likely the path that most if not all players will start with due to a lack of knowledge of the game. To fully experience all the juicy bits of the Corruption path the player must ensure that they corrupt the girls as often as possible. They can mix in scenes belonging to the Corruption or Pure Love path as well, they just have to be smart about their choices.
The Pure Love path is the hardest to stumble upon unless you're a saint or vanilla enjoyer. In essence the player must NEVER choose a corruption dialogue hence why I call it the Pure Love path. I don't know if that will change as the game receives more updates or not, but I have completed all that was available in the game without hitting a roadblock in the Pure Love path. So if you're having trouble unlocking some gallery scenes try the Pure Love path.

Production quality wise this is really up there with the greats. Amazing animations and models. Scenarios are super hot too, and often really funny, like the drinking game.
Writing wise there are some hiccups. Like it genuinely kind of freaks me out how quickly everyone gets love-bombed. You literally know a person for 3 days and they talk about how they'd be okay with getting pregnant with you. But then on the flip side it feels like there's so much yapping about nothing, like those intermission scenes with the authors OC. I get it we're all influenced by a semen demon succubus, but still. Friends don't let friends put self insert characters as gods into their gooning AVNs.
Well said. I love the visuals but the dialogues are hard to read. Theres so much grammar mistakes and sooooo stretched out.
I don't hold simple typos against anyone making a still unfinished product. Those are to be expected and are ofcourse accidents. Bad story beats however are deliberate choices but even those can be smoothed over. A lot can be fixed by hiring an editor, which is something very few authors seem to do. (I mean I get it we're not exactly making high art here, and money is tight.)

I'm not fully finished, but I'm loving it so far. I don't mind long updates to keep up this quality, especially for smaller developers. It's hard to choose who to go for, which is good! I didn't think I'd like all the girls, but they're all really well done. I also appreciate the romantic/lewd system, I think it's really interesting. The balance between plot and romance/lewdity is also really nice imo! looking forward for updates and to support this project ^_^

It took you from December of 2023 to May of 2025 just to release an update? I really liked this game, but I'm not waiting a year and a half between updates. That's insane.
It took me to make a huge remake of the first parts and a content update, yes. Sadly, quality takes time.

Can't believe I got to an ending with the teacher after their 'thing' and saved right after that was done to only come back later knowing that was the end of the chapter 😭 I was so ready for some more content. Been taking this game nice and slow and I still got cucked out of content. Luckily I have Confined and Horny update out now to satisfy my needs till this new update comes out (please be soon for the love of god. I love this game and Cozy Cafe so much).
At first i kinda liked this. But the moment YUI pops up the story grinds to a halt and drags on forever and ever even the sexy stuff isnt good when YUI and MC are always saying sorry and walking on eggshells like holyshit i just started skipping all Yui dialog too much mellow drama for 0 reason.
